I Love My Mimi
Here is Mimi and Big Sis and me looking at a book by artist Walton Ford. Big Sis wasn't as interested as I was because she's not going to be an artist like I am. Thanks for showing me that great book Mimi, and I can't wait to spend more quality time with you. For now I'm just carrying around a pocket sized picture of you (truly).

Carving a Jack-O-Lantern
I'm just like my gramps, I hate getting dirty and I dislike messes. Therefore I refuse to stick my hand in the pumpkin to pick out sticky seeds. NO WAY I say. That is just not my thing. I'll watch, but I refuse to help, thank you very much. Thank goodness for dad. He's immune to doing the yucky stuff.

Collecting Mussels
My first full day in Maine and I'm already collecting mussels. Henry and I found a whole bucket of them.

Out at the Ranch
I went with Mimi, Mommy, and Big Sis to a minature horse ranch. I didn't ride the horses, because even though they're minature, they're a heck of a lot bigger than me. I didn't want any part of it. I did like watching Big Sis take a ride. I also liked looking at the horses. I did take a ride on the minature truck, and I liked when it went really fast.

A Walk Down Columbus
I just keep getting cuter (and blonder), don't I? Mom bought me the same kicks as my big sister, so now we're twins. I can put on my socks and shoes all by myself, which is pretty impressive considering I'm only one and a half. I have to if I want to keep up with BS. Soon she'll have to keep up with me. I can already use a fork better than she can.

My Silly Sister
I love my Big Sister SOOO much and she thinks I'm "SOOO Cute". We draw together, eat together, play together, hide under the bed together, jump on the bed together, and get in trouble together. We even fight over clothes together. Big Sis notices that I wear a lot of her old clothing, and she doesn't always like it. She even tries to wear some of them. They don't always fit, but she doesn't care. I think it's funny. Our's is a match made in heaven.

Chillin in a Chair
Just call me Goldilocks- I love chairs! Big and tall, soft and small, I will sit in them all. Or at least try them out. I don't like to sit in my high chair, I much prefer my sister's booster seat. And better yet, just a regular chair my size. I like to climb on and off chairs when I'm not sitting on them. It gets me into trouble because I'm small and I fall off. Poor me.

Sliding is my THING
I absolutely detest swinging. It makes me shake. But, put me at the top of a slide, any slide, and I'm ready to go. I love to slide. It is so much fun. I make mom pick me up over and over as I do laps on the slide. She actually wants me to climb up the stairs to the slide. How ridiculous is that? It wastes so much sliding time.

I like to Climb
Since I've started walking, I've also started climbing. I like to stand in my high chair, I like to stand on the couch, and I like to stand on my sister's bed. Once I'm standing, I usually like to jump (if I know it's going to be a semi-safe landing). I haven't gotten too maimed yet, but I'm working on it. My sense of fear is receding, and my sister is teaching me the art of being a daredevil (she climbs on top of her 4 foot kitchenette all the time when she isn't scaling the shelves of the bookcase).

My Reading Chair
I love to sit and enjoy a good book. Here I am in the green chair at Mimi's house. When I am not reading in it, I am usually standing and acting like a wild child in it. I don't really like to practice standing on the floor, I prefer to do it while in high places, like on my high-chair, on mommy's bed, on the couch. Once I'm standing I like to see how good my balance is by shaking and dancing. I haven't fallen yet, but I'll keep you posted.
